Do I need to book to visit? +
No. We're open to the public for free on Friday 13:00–17:00 and Saturday and Sunday 09:00–17:00 — just turn up, no booking and no membership. Workshops and machine hire during the week are bookable.
How much does it cost? +
Public access on Friday afternoons and at weekends is free. Workshops are individually priced, and machine time and room hire during the week are bookable by the hour.
Can I bring my children? +
Yes — families are welcome during our free public access sessions on Friday afternoons and at weekends. Some equipment has age restrictions, and under-14s should be accompanied by an adult.
Workshops
Do I need any experience to join a workshop? +
Not at all. Most of our workshops are beginner-friendly and led by an instructor who'll guide you through everything. Skill levels are listed on each workshop.
How do I book a workshop? +
Browse What's On and book through your account. You'll get a confirmation and any joining details by email. Creating an account is free — it's simply how bookings work.
Equipment
Can I use the machines on my own? +
Once you've been inducted on a machine you can book and use it independently. Inductions are run by staff — ask on your next visit or book an induction session.

Can I hire the space for my group or business? +
Yes — we offer machine time, room hire and space for projects and organisations. Get in touch and we'll find something that works.
