About this workshop
Learn the basics of crochet and make a handmade Christmas present for someone special, or for yourself!
Session 1: Learn how to make a chain and how to work double and treble stitches, then start your project. You won’t finish it in the session, so you’ll complete it at home.
Session 2 (optional): Learn how to block your finished piece so it looks neat and holds its shape, and add pompoms or tassels if you’d like.
You need to attend Session 1 to join Session 2, but Session 2 is optional.
What to bring:
100g of Aran/Worsted weight yarn
A 5mm or 5.5mm crochet hook
Extra yarn if you’d like to add pompoms or tassels
Suitable for complete beginners.
