About this workshop
Ever fancied getting your hands in clay but didn’t know where to start? This is where.
Beginners’ Clay Club is a six-week course for complete beginners, run by ceramicist Kim Stuttard in a small group of no more than 10.
This first session is all about pinch pots. You’ll make a character egg cup and join two little pots together to make a bird or animal, then decorate them with coloured slip.
The pottery wheel is out every week too, so if throwing is what you’re here for, you can have a go from night one.
Nobody’s first pot is perfect, and that’s half the fun. Kim will take you from lump of clay to finished piece one step at a time.
How booking works: Book week 1 here. After that you book each following week while you’re with us on the night, so your seat is kept for you. Any spare seats go back on the website each Wednesday.
