Ever wondered how yarn is made? In this hands-on workshop, you'll make your own drop spindle to take home, then learn the basics of hand-spinning. Turning raw wool fibre into your very own yarn. No experience needed! We'll guide you through the whole process, from building your spindle to getting the hang of drafting and twisting fibre. By the end of the session, you'll have a working spindle and a length of hand-spun yarn you made yourself. A relaxed, beginner-friendly session, come along and learn a traditional craft that's been around for thousands of years.
