Successful Experiments in the Making Rooms.
On Thursday 11th August The Making Rooms played host to a day long experiment to find out how many different ways we could use our machines to produce a piece of artwork.
The eight participants selected an image of Darwen’s Jubilee Tower as the subject and quickly set to work seeing how they could break it down and rebuild it again using our machines.
Attendees learnt how to manipulate images in Photoshop and Inkscape and then got to try out their ideas on our Laser and Vinyl cutters.
This experimental workshop worked really well, so we will no doubt be rolling out another session of this kind soon, so watch this space.
