Betty the CNC machine is drawing something special, come and visit to see if you can tell what she is drawing (not the drawing in the photo below!) For the rest of the year Betty slices through sheets of wood & metal like butter so she is looking forward to showing you her softer side this NFoM. This activity will be carrying on throughout the festival so come and have a look anytime.


Creative Creatures

Free drop in activity

Come make your own creative creatures out of lots of different laser cut pieces. A robot? An animal? A cyborg? You decide! Tweet us a pic of your creature to @TheMakingRooms and you could win a chance to make a full size version 😱


Personalised Solar System Necklaces

To celebrate this year’s 50th anniversary of the moon landing we’ve created a system to laser cut your very own necklace to show how the planets were positioned on the day of your birth. Just type in your birth date and press GO! Out of this world.
