Make-A-Start: Personalised Clothing and Bags
Have you got the urge to create?
Have you thought about setting up your own creative business but don’t know where to start?
Whether your venture will be a part-time creative outlet, or a full-time job to ‘bring home the bacon’, The Making Rooms can help you get over that intimidating first hurdle; making a start.
In this Make-A-Start workshops we will be showing you how to create and sell vinyl cut personalised clothing and bags.
On top of the workshop itself we will provide you with additional free machine hire that you can use at a later date for the vinyl cutter, to practice your new craft, and some material to make use of too! You will really get a feel for how businesses use our facilities.
A tote bag, cosmetics bag, and a unisex ‘M’ Fruit of the Loom t-shirt will be provided. If you would like to try and personalise a specific item instead bring it along and have a go.
If you’re looking for a new adventure or want to learn a new craft for your business, this workshop is for you.
In this workshop we will focus on:
- Product design (design software and ideas generation)
- How to use our vinyl cutter and heat press
- What sells well
- Where is best to sell
More and more people are enjoying life through starting their own creative businesses. It’s a great community – Join us!
